Introduction to the Piano
Start by introducing the piano to the student. Explain the different parts of the piano, such as the keys, black and white, and the pedals. Demonstrate how to sit properly at the piano and how to place hands on the keys.
-
Exploring the Keys
Show the student the layout of the piano keys. Teach them about the pattern of black and white keys, and explain how to identify groups of two and three black keys. Have the student locate and name different groups of keys.
-
Playing Basic Notes
Introduce the concept of notes and how they correspond to the keys on the piano. Start with the middle C note and guide the student to find and play it on the piano. Teach them the finger number for each hand to use when playing the note.

Playing a Simple Song
Provide the student with a simple piano sheet music for beginners. Guide them to identify the notes on the sheet music and play the corresponding keys on the piano. Start with a short song with few notes and gradually increase the complexity as the student progresses.
