Objective

By the end of this lesson, Cullen will understand basic multiplication and division concepts, improve his grammar and English skills, learn about social studies related to space and dinosaurs, explore scientific concepts about animals, and engage in creative art and music activities.

Materials and Prep

Activities

• Multiplication and Division Video Game Challenge: Cullen will create a simple video game scenario where he must use multiplication and division to solve problems to advance to the next level. For example, "If you have 4 dinosaurs and each dinosaur has 3 friends, how many dinosaurs are there in total?"

• Grammar Quest: Cullen will write a short story about his favorite dinosaur or animal, focusing on using correct grammar and punctuation. After writing, he will read it aloud to practice speaking and listening skills.

• Space and Dinosaurs Social Studies Exploration: Cullen will research a specific dinosaur or planet and create a poster that includes interesting facts. He can use drawings and words to present his findings.

• Animal Science Investigation: Cullen will choose an animal and learn about its habitat, diet, and behavior. He will create a simple chart or drawing to present his findings.

• Art and Music Creation: Cullen will create a piece of art inspired by space or dinosaurs. He can also make up a song about his favorite animal or dinosaur and perform it.
