  • Access to a map or a digital mapping tool (like Google Maps).
  • Calculator for budgeting.
  • Internet access for researching destinations and activities.
  • Knowledge of Taub's interests and favorite activities for personalized planning.

Activities

  • Destination Brainstorming:

Taub will list out potential destinations for a road trip based on personal interests, such as national parks, historical sites, or amusement parks. Encourage creativity and think outside the box!

  • Mapping the Route:

Using a map or digital tool, Taub will plot the chosen destinations and determine the best route. Discuss factors like distance, travel time, and scenic routes.

  • Activity Planning:

For each destination, Taub will research and note down fun activities to do, places to eat, and sights to see. This can include local events or hidden gems.

  • Budgeting:

Taub will create a budget for the trip, considering costs like gas, food, lodging, and activities. This will help in understanding financial planning for travel.

  • Flexibility Exercise:

Discuss the importance of being flexible during a road trip. Taub can brainstorm potential challenges (like road closures or bad weather) and how to adapt plans accordingly.
