Objective
By the end of this lesson, Jaspen will be able to understand and use basic vocabulary related to Viking culture in a foreign language, as well as engage in simple conversations about Vikings and their history.

Activities

Create a bingo card filled with vocabulary words related to Vikings, such as "longship," "axe," "shield," and "raid." As you call out definitions in the foreign language, Jaspen can mark the corresponding word on the card. This will help reinforce vocabulary recognition.
- Role-Playing Game:
Engage in a role-playing scenario where Jaspen pretends to be a Viking explorer. Use the foreign language to describe the journey, the ship, and the lands they discover. This activity encourages creativity and practical use of vocabulary.
- Viking Storytelling:
Have Jaspen create a short story about a Viking adventure. The story should incorporate key vocabulary and phrases learned during the lesson. Encourage him to present the story in the foreign language, practicing pronunciation and fluency.
