Activities
- Warm-up: Start with a dynamic warm-up routine including exercises like jogging in place, arm circles, and high knees for about 5-10 minutes.
- Athletic Skills Circuit: Set up a circuit with various stations focusing on different athletic skills such as agility, speed, coordination, and strength. For example, you can have a station for ladder drills, another for shuttle runs, one for jump rope, and another for bodyweight exercises like push-ups and squats. Spend about 5-7 minutes at each station, rotating through the circuit multiple times.
- Game Time: Finish the lesson with a fun game that incorporates the athletic skills practiced during the circuit. For example, you can play a modified version of tag where players have to perform a specific athletic skill to tag someone.
