Before starting, ensure the student has access to Minecraft and understands the basic controls of the game. Discuss the concept of architecture and what makes a building functional and appealing.

Activities

• Design Your Dream House:

  The student will sketch their dream house on paper. They should think about the number of rooms, the layout, and any special features they want to include, such as a garden or a swimming pool.

• Resource Gathering:

  In Minecraft, the student will gather materials needed to build their dream house. They will learn about different types of blocks and resources, such as wood, stone, and glass, and how to collect them efficiently.

• Building Time:

  Using the materials they gathered, the student will start building their dream house in Minecraft. Encourage them to think creatively and experiment with different designs and layouts as they build.

• Show and Tell:

  Once the house is built, the student will give a brief tour of their creation to a family member or friend. They should explain their design choices and what features they included in their house.
