Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will understand basic facts about leopards, their habitat, and their role in the ecosystem, especially focusing on the leopards of Singita. The student will also engage in creative activities to reinforce their learning.
Materials and Prep
- Blank paper
- Colored pencils or crayons
- A timer (optional for fun challenges)
- A comfortable space to sit and work
- Knowledge about leopards and Singita (can be gathered from memory or basic research)
Activities

Leopard Drawing: The student will draw their favorite leopard. They can choose to make it realistic or create a fun, colorful version. Encourage them to think about the patterns on the leopard's fur!

Storytime: The student will create a short story about a day in the life of a leopard living in Singita. They can include what the leopard eats, where it sleeps, and any adventures it might have!

Leopard Facts Game: The student will research and write down 5 interesting facts about leopards. Then, they can quiz you on these facts to see how much you've learned!

Nature Walk: If possible, take a short walk outside. Ask the student to look for things in nature that might be similar to the leopard's habitat, like trees or bushes where a leopard might hide.
