Objective

By the end of this lesson, TheMonkeywilly will understand basic teamwork, strategy, and communication skills through fun, game-inspired activities that relate to the themes found in Call of Duty.

Materials and Prep

  • No special materials are needed; just a fun imagination!
  • Be ready to explain teamwork and strategy in simple terms.
  • Prepare to encourage creativity and role-playing during activities.

Activities

  • Mission Planning:

TheMonkeywilly will create a simple mission plan for a pretend game. They can draw a map of their imaginary game world and decide what the mission will be.

  • Teamwork Challenge:

Set up an obstacle course in your home or yard. TheMonkeywilly will work with a family member to complete the course while communicating about how to get through it together.

  • Role-Playing Game:

Choose characters and act out a mini-game scenario. TheMonkeywilly can pretend to be a soldier or a hero, and you can play along, creating fun dialogues and challenges.

  • Creative Storytelling:

Have TheMonkeywilly create a short story about a hero on a mission. They can share their story with you and use their imagination to describe the adventure.
