Vocabulary Treasure Hunt
Hide index cards around the room with vocabulary words from the book. S. will find the cards and write down the definitions and sentences using each word. This will make learning fun and dynamic!
-
Word Mapping
Choose five vocabulary words and create a word map for each. Include the definition, synonyms, antonyms, and a sentence. This visual representation will help S. remember the words better.
-
Creative Storytelling
Using the new vocabulary words, S. will write a short story or a scene that incorporates at least five of the words. Encourage creativity and imagination!
