Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to identify and use correct English grammar rules while exploring the world of Genshin.

Materials and Prep

  • Computer or device to access Genshin
  • Internet connection
  • Paper and pen/pencil

No prior knowledge of Genshin is required, but it would be helpful if you are familiar with basic English grammar concepts.

Activities

  1. Start by playing Genshin and exploring the game world.

While playing, pay attention to the dialogue between characters and any written text you encounter.

Take notes on any grammar-related observations you make during gameplay.

  2. After playing for a while, take a break and review your notes.

Identify at least three instances where you noticed grammar rules being used correctly or incorrectly in the game.

Write down the specific sentences or phrases that caught your attention.

  3. Using your notes as a reference, create a short story or dialogue of your own that incorporates the correct grammar rules you observed.

Make sure to include at least three different grammar concepts, such as subject-verb agreement, punctuation, or verb tenses.

Write your story or dialogue neatly on paper.

  4. Share your story or dialogue with a family member or friend.

Ask them to identify the grammar rules you used correctly and provide feedback on your writing.

Make any necessary revisions based on their suggestions.
