Materials and Prep

Activities

1. Word Hunt: Open Minecraft and explore different areas. As you come across different objects, write down their names and try to spell them correctly. Challenge yourself to find at least 10 words.

2. Building Blocks: Choose five Minecraft-related words and write them vertically on a piece of paper. Use each letter of the word to start a new word or phrase related to Minecraft. For example, if the word is "creeper," you can create words like "craft," "explore," "redstone," etc.

3. Spelling Bee: Create a list of 10 Minecraft-related words. Take turns with a family member or friend to spell the words out loud. Keep track of how many words you spell correctly and challenge yourself to improve your score each time.
