By the end of this lesson, the student will have a better understanding of the basics of football, including rules, positions, and some fun skills to practice. They will also learn about teamwork and sportsmanship while enjoying the game!

Materials and Prep

  • A football (or any ball that can be kicked and thrown)
  • Open space to play (like a backyard or park)

Before the lesson, make sure the student knows basic safety rules for playing outside and understands the importance of staying hydrated while playing sports.

  • Skill Drills

Set up a few simple drills to practice throwing, catching, and kicking the ball. Encourage the student to try each skill and offer tips to improve their technique.
