Polar Bear Sandbox Fun!

Let's Get Ready (5 mins):

• Set up the sensory bin: Pour the Kinetic Sand into the bin or tray. Spread it out a little.
• Introduce the stars: Show your little one the polar bear toys! "Look! Polar Bears! They like the cold! Brrr!"

Playtime Adventure (15-20 mins):

• Feel the sand: Encourage your child to touch the Kinetic Sand. "Wow! How does it feel? Squishy? Soft?" Let them explore poking and patting it.
• Bears in the 'snow': Place the polar bears in the sand. "The bears are walking in the snow!" Make little footprints with the bears.
• Hide and seek: Let's hide the bears! Gently push them under the sand. "Where did the bear go? Let's find him! Dig, dig, dig!"
• Scoop and Pour (Optional): If using scoops or cups, show how to scoop the sand and pour it. "Scoop the snow! Pour it on the bear!"
• Sing a little song (Optional): Sing a simple tune like "The bears in the sand go stomp, stomp, stomp..." (to the tune of Wheels on the Bus).

Clean-Up Together (5 mins):

• "Time to put the bears to sleep!" Help your child gather the polar bear toys.
• "Let's put the sand away." Encourage participation in putting tools away and containing the sand. High fives for helping!
