Activities

  1. Read "The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss together.

    Discuss the importance of taking care of the environment and the impact of human activities on Earth.

  2. Using the globe or world map, locate different continents and oceans.

    Discuss how Earth's land and water are distributed and how they support different habitats.

  3. Take a nature walk in your backyard or a nearby park.

    Observe and collect small samples of rocks, leaves, and soil.

    Discuss the different types of materials found in nature and how they contribute to Earth's diversity.

  4. Create a mini science journal.

    Use the notebook to record observations, draw pictures, and write down any questions or thoughts that arise during the activities.
