Activities
-
Warm-up Exercises
Start with a warm-up to prepare the body for physical activity. Perform exercises such as jumping jacks, high knees, and arm circles for 5-10 minutes.
-
Tumbling Basics
Introduce basic tumbling movements such as forward rolls, backward rolls, and cartwheels. Demonstrate each movement and provide clear instructions on how to perform them safely. Allow the student to practice each movement with your guidance and support.
-
Tumbling Obstacle Course
Create a simple tumbling obstacle course using pillows, cushions, or soft objects. Set up stations where the student can practice different tumbling skills. For example, one station can be for forward rolls, another for backward rolls, and another for cartwheels. Encourage the student to complete the obstacle course multiple times, focusing on proper technique and coordination.
