Activities

  1. Word Search: Create a word search puzzle using words related to Thomas the Train. Include words like "engine," "railway," "steam," "tracks," "conductor," and "junction." Solve the puzzle by finding and circling the words.
  2. Spelling Bee: Choose five words from the word search puzzle and have a spelling bee. Spell each word out loud and ask the student to write down their spelling. Go through the correct spellings together and discuss any mistakes.
  3. Story Writing: Write a short story or paragraph about a train journey with Thomas the Train. Include at least ten words related to trains. Underline those words and review their spellings with the student.
