Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to understand and apply basic arithmetic concepts through fun Super Mario-themed activities.
Materials and Prep
- Super Mario-themed flashcards (with numbers 1-10)
- Super Mario-themed stickers
- Paper and pencils
Activities

Counting Coins: Show the student a flashcard with a number of coins on it (e.g., 5 coins). Ask them to count the coins and write down the number. Once they have the answer, reward them with a Super Mario-themed sticker.

Adding Power-ups: Show the student two flashcards with numbers (e.g., 3 and 2). Ask them to add the numbers together and write down the sum. If they answer correctly, reward them with a Super Mario-themed sticker.

Subtracting Enemies: Show the student two flashcards with numbers (e.g., 8 and 3). Ask them to subtract the smaller number from the larger number and write down the difference. If they answer correctly, reward them with a Super Mario-themed sticker.
