- Draw and Label a Flower: Using a pencil, draw a flower on a piece of paper. Label the different parts of the flower, such as petals, stem, leaves, and center. Color your flower using markers or crayons.
Kindergarten Grade Talking Points
- "Flowers are beautiful plants that come in many different colors and shapes."
- "Flowers have different parts. The colorful part of the flower is called the petals. The stem holds the flower up. Leaves grow on the stem, and they help the flower get sunlight. The center of the flower has pollen and seeds."
- "We can use different materials like construction paper to create our own flowers. We can cut out shapes for the petals, stem, and leaves, and glue them together to make a flower collage."
- "When we draw a flower, we can label the different parts. We can use markers or crayons to color our flower and make it look pretty."
