Activities

Begin by discussing with the student the popularity of basketball as a sport worldwide. Ask them to name a few countries known for their basketball culture.

Next, ask the student to identify and locate other countries known for their basketball prowess. Encourage them to think beyond the NBA and consider international competitions such as the Olympics and FIBA World Cup.
