Objective

Activities

  1. Introduction to Dinosaurs: Show the student pictures or models of different dinosaurs. Discuss their names, sizes, and characteristics. Encourage the student to ask questions and share any prior knowledge they may have.
  2. Dinosaur Coloring: Provide the student with dinosaur coloring pages or blank paper to draw their own dinosaurs. Encourage them to use their imagination and creativity.
  3. Dinosaur Research: If access to a computer or tablet is available, guide the student to search for more information about dinosaurs online. Help them find interesting facts or videos to watch.
  4. Dinosaur Timeline: Create a simple timeline on paper or a whiteboard. Discuss with the student the different periods of the Mesozoic Era (Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous) and place the dinosaurs they learned about on the timeline.
  5. Dinosaur Storytelling: Ask the student to create a short story involving dinosaurs. Encourage them to use their knowledge of dinosaurs and incorporate historical elements.
