Activities
- Introduction to Dinosaurs: Show the student pictures or models of different dinosaurs. Discuss their names, sizes, and characteristics. Encourage the student to ask questions and share any prior knowledge they may have.
- Dinosaur Coloring: Provide the student with dinosaur coloring pages or blank paper to draw their own dinosaurs. Encourage them to use their imagination and creativity.
- Dinosaur Research: If access to a computer or tablet is available, guide the student to search for more information about dinosaurs online. Help them find interesting facts or videos to watch.
- Dinosaur Timeline: Create a simple timeline on paper or a whiteboard. Discuss with the student the different periods of the Mesozoic Era (Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous) and place the dinosaurs they learned about on the timeline.
- Dinosaur Storytelling: Ask the student to create a short story involving dinosaurs. Encourage them to use their knowledge of dinosaurs and incorporate historical elements.
