Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to read and understand a simple text about butterflies.
Materials and Prep

- Read the text together, taking turns reading aloud. Encourage the student to sound out unfamiliar words and ask for help when needed.
- After reading, ask the student to summarize what they learned about butterflies. Write down their summary on a separate piece of paper.
- Have the student draw a picture of a butterfly based on what they learned from the text. They can use the paper and pencils for this activity.
