Activities
- Introduce the concept of government and citizenship by explaining that they are like the rules and responsibilities we have in our society.
- Ask the student to think about what rules they follow at home and in school. Discuss why rules are important for everyone to have a safe and fair community.
- Provide the student with a unicorn coloring sheet and have them color it creatively.
- Help the student cut out the colored unicorn and glue it onto a piece of construction paper.
- Encourage the student to think about what rules they would like to have in their unicorn kingdom. Have them draw or write these rules on the construction paper around the unicorn.
- Discuss the importance of following rules and being a responsible citizen in their own unicorn kingdom.
