Second Grade Talking Points
- "Chemistry is the study of different substances and how they interact with each other."
- "In our first activity, we will create a Barbie volcano by mixing baking soda and water. This will cause a reaction that makes the volcano erupt."
- "In the second activity, we will create a Barbie rainbow by dipping the dolls' feet into different colored water. This will show us how colors can mix and create new colors."
- "Chemistry is all around us, even in our toys like Barbies. It helps us understand how things work and why they behave the way they do."
