Activities
- Introduction to 3 Part Cards: Show the student the Montessori 3 part cards and explain that they are used to help learn and recognize numbers. Demonstrate how to match the picture card, word card, and quantity card for each number.
- Number Identification Game: Lay out the quantity cards randomly and ask the student to find the corresponding picture card and word card for each number. Encourage them to say the number out loud as they find the correct cards.
- Counting and Matching: Use the quantity cards to play a counting game. Ask the student to count the objects on each card and find the corresponding number card to match the quantity. Repeat this activity multiple times to reinforce number recognition and counting skills.
