Materials and Prep
- No materials required
- Prior knowledge of basic movements like jumping, running, and stretching
Activities
Warm-up: Start by pretending to be a magician's assistant. Stand tall with your arms stretched out to the sides like you are balancing a magic wand. Slowly rotate your arms in small circles, then gradually make them bigger. Repeat this movement for 1 minute.
Jumping Spell: Imagine you are casting a jumping spell. Jump up and down as high as you can for 10 times. Each time you land, say "Hocus pocus, jump to the sky!"
Running Race: Set up a small course in your backyard or living room. Pretend you are racing against a magical creature. Run as fast as you can from the starting point to the finish line. Repeat this race three times, trying to beat your previous time each round.
Stretching Magic: Stand up straight and reach your arms up high, as if you are reaching for the stars. Slowly bend down and try to touch your toes. Hold this stretch for 10 seconds. Repeat this stretch two more times.
