Before starting the lesson, make sure the trampoline is in good condition and set up in a safe area away from any obstacles.
Activities
- Warm-up exercises: Begin with a few minutes of light stretching and jogging in place to warm up the muscles.
- Jumping basics: Teach the student proper jumping technique, including bending the knees, using arms for balance, and landing softly.
- Jumping variations: Introduce different types of jumps, such as tuck jumps, star jumps, and knee tucks. Demonstrate each jump and have the student practice them.
- Trampoline games: Play fun games on the trampoline, such as Simon Says or a jumping relay race. Encourage the student to have fun while staying safe.
- Cool-down and stretching: End the lesson with a cool-down period, including gentle stretching exercises to prevent muscle soreness.
