Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create your own car artwork and appreciate different types of cars.

Materials and Prep

  • White paper or drawing pad
  • Crayons or colored pencils
  • Reference images of different types of cars (optional)

No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.

Activities

  1. Start by discussing with the student their favorite type of car and why they like it. Encourage them to describe the car's features and colors.
  2. Show the student different reference images of cars, such as sports cars, race cars, vintage cars, and trucks. Discuss the differences between them and ask the student which ones they find interesting.
  3. Ask the student to imagine and draw their own dream car on the white paper or drawing pad. Encourage them to be creative and use different colors.
  4. After completing the artwork, have the student explain their drawing, including the features and colors they chose. Ask them questions to prompt further discussion.
  5. Display the student's artwork in a special place, such as on the refrigerator or a bulletin board, to celebrate their creativity.

  • "Your artwork is amazing! Let's display it in a special place to show everyone your creativity."
