Materials and Prep

- Cones or markers to create a small playing area

- Prior knowledge of basic soccer rules and skills
Activities

Warm-up exercises: Begin with light stretching exercises to prepare your muscles for physical activity. Perform gentle arm circles, leg swings, and toe touches.

Dribbling practice: Set up a small playing area using cones or markers. Demonstrate proper ball control techniques and have the student practice dribbling the soccer ball around the area using different parts of their feet.

Passing and receiving: Introduce basic passing and receiving skills. Show the student how to pass the ball to a partner using the inside of their foot, and how to receive a pass by cushioning the ball with their body.

Shooting practice: Teach the student proper shooting technique, including aiming for a target and using the laces of their shoe to strike the ball. Set up a goal or target and have the student practice shooting.

Cool-down and hydration: Finish the lesson with a cool-down period, where the student performs gentle stretches to relax their muscles. Remind them to drink water to stay hydrated.
