Energy Explorer: The Magic Crystal Wand Adventure

  • I can ask permission before touching someone else's feet or hands ("May I explore your energy?").
  • I can use "feather touch" (light) and "hug touch" (medium) pressures correctly.
  • I can draw or talk about where my body feels warm, cool, happy, or relaxed.

2. Materials Needed

  • 1 Polished Crystal Wand: A smooth, rounded crystal wand (Rose Quartz, Green Aventurine, or Clear Quartz are great). Ensure it has rounded, blunt ends—no sharp points!

3. Introduction: The Energy Battery Check-In (10 Minutes)

  • Hand the crystal wand to the child. Let them touch it.
  • Ask: "How does it feel in your hands? Is it warm or cold? Smooth or bumpy? What color does it look like when the light shines through it?"
  • Explain that crystals come from deep inside the Earth and are great at holding and moving calm energy.

4. The Body: "I Do, We Do, You Do" Model (30 Minutes)

Step 1: "I Do" - The Magic Wand Rules & Demo (10 Minutes)

Objective: Learn safety, consent, and basic strokes on a stuffed animal.

"Before we start our explorer mission, we have two super-important rules. First, Rule Number One: The Feather and the Hug. We never press hard! Instructions for the Student:
"You are now a Certified Energy Explorer! Your mission is to give your partner (or your stuffed animal/own legs) a 5-step superpower recharge. You get to choose where the energy needs to go!"

  • Step 1: Ask for permission ("May I give you an energy massage?").
  • Step 2: Choose 2 spots (e.g., hands and feet, or shoulders and shins).
  • Step 3: Perform 3 "Sweeps" on each spot.
  • Step 4: Perform 3 "Circles" on each spot.
  • Step 5: Hold the wand still for a "Cozy Press" while taking one deep, happy breath.

5. Conclusion & Reflection (10 Minutes)
