Activity 1: What Do They Mean?
Look up or discuss the meaning of each spelling word. How does it relate to world records? Write a short definition for each word.
- Example: Record - The best achievement ever in a particular activity.
Activity 2: Record-Setting Sentences!
Write a sentence for each spelling word. Try to make your sentences about real or imaginary world records!
- Example: The longest recorded jump was truly amazing!
- Example: Her attempt to set the record was declared official by the judges.
Activity 3: Alphabetical Order Challenge
Can you put your spelling words in alphabetical order? Write the list neatly in your notebook.
Activity 4: World Record Word Search (Make Your Own!)
