Activities

  1. Spelling Bee:

Choose a list of 10 challenging words from a book or online resource. Write each word on a separate piece of paper. Take turns with a family member or friend to spell the words out loud. If you spell a word incorrectly, write it down and practice it later.

  2. Word Search:

Create your own word search puzzle using a grid of letters. Include at least 15 words related to a specific topic or theme. Give the puzzle to a family member or friend to solve. Once they find all the words, exchange puzzles and solve theirs.

  3. Story Spelling:

Write a short story using at least 10 spelling words from your current spelling list. Be creative and try to incorporate the words seamlessly into the narrative. Share your story with a family member or friend and have them identify the spelling words you used.
