Activities
- Brainstorming: Ask the student to think about their favorite Halloween characters such as ghosts, skeletons, or witches. Encourage them to come up with a story idea that involves these characters.
- Creating Characters: Have the student draw or describe their main character and any supporting characters for their story. They can use the Halloween-themed stickers or decorations to add visual elements to their characters.
- Writing the Story: Help the student write their Halloween story using their characters. Encourage them to use descriptive language and to include a beginning, middle, and end in their story.
- Illustrating the Story: After writing the story, have the student illustrate their story by creating pictures to go along with each part of the story.
- Sharing the Story: Give the student an opportunity to share their story with someone else, such as a family member or friend. They can read it aloud or show their illustrations while explaining the story.
