Activities

  1. Introduction: Start by discussing with the student their interest in horses and why they find them fascinating. Encourage them to share any experiences or stories they have related to horses.
  2. Observation and Sketching: Show the student reference images of horses or ask them to visualize a horse in their mind. Instruct them to draw a basic outline of a horse on the white drawing paper using a pencil. Encourage them to pay attention to the shape and proportions of the horse.
  3. Adding Details: Once the basic outline is complete, guide the student to add details to their horse drawing. They can include the eyes, mane, tail, and any other features they find interesting. Encourage them to be creative and use their imagination.
  4. Coloring: After the details are added, provide the student with colored pencils or crayons. Instruct them to color their horse drawing using their preferred colors. Encourage them to think about the different colors horses can have and how they can make their artwork vibrant and lively.
  5. Reflection and Display: Once the coloring is complete, have a discussion with the student about their artwork. Ask them to describe their favorite parts and what they enjoyed most about the process. Display their finished artwork in a prominent place to celebrate their achievement.
