Activities
Begin by discussing the concept of characters in Minecraft. Ask the student to think about their favorite Minecraft character.
Have the student draw a picture of their favorite Minecraft character on the paper. Encourage them to include as many details as possible.
Next, ask the student to write a short paragraph describing their favorite Minecraft character. Provide sentence starters if needed, such as "My favorite Minecraft character is..." or "They are special because...".
Once the paragraph is written, have the student read it aloud. Encourage them to use descriptive words and complete sentences.
If the student has access to Minecraft, ask them to share their favorite character and paragraph with a family member or friend in the game.
