Activities

  1. Choose a chapter from the Magic Treehouse book.

    Find a cozy spot to sit and begin reading the chapter aloud.

  2. Pause after each page or paragraph and ask questions to check comprehension. For example:

    • "What is the main character's name?"
    • "Where does the story take place?"
    • "What do you think will happen next?"

  3. After finishing the chapter, discuss the story with your child. Ask open-ended questions to encourage critical thinking and personal connections. For example:

    • "What was your favorite part of the chapter?"
    • "How do you think the characters felt in that situation?"
    • "Can you relate to any of the events in the story?"
