Materials and Prep
- A Minecraft-themed storybook
- Paper and pencil
Activities
- Introduce the Minecraft-themed storybook to the student and discuss the cover and title.
- Read the story aloud to the student, pausing occasionally to ask comprehension questions.
- After reading, ask the student to draw their favorite scene from the story and write a sentence describing it.
- Review the student's drawing and sentence together, discussing any vocabulary or concepts they may have encountered.

- "Today, we are going to read a story about Minecraft. Who here likes Minecraft?"
- "Look at the cover of the book. What do you think the story might be about?"
- "As I read the story, listen carefully and try to picture the scenes in your mind."
