Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create your own Minecraft-inspired artwork using basic shapes and colors.
Materials and Prep
- Blank paper
- Crayons or colored pencils
Prior knowledge of Minecraft and basic shapes is helpful.
Activities
- Discuss Minecraft and its visual elements. Talk about the different blocks, characters, and landscapes in the game.
- Encourage the student to think about their favorite Minecraft scene or character.
- Using the blank paper and crayons or colored pencils, have the student create their own Minecraft-inspired artwork.
- Guide the student to use basic shapes (squares, rectangles, circles) to represent different elements in their artwork.
- Encourage the use of bright colors to make the artwork vibrant and lively.
- Once the artwork is complete, have the student explain their creation and share what they like about it.
