No prior knowledge is required for this lesson.
Activities
Start by discussing what personal knowledge management means. Explain that it is the process of organizing and keeping track of the information we learn or want to remember.
Take a trip to the library or explore online library resources together. Encourage your child to select a book or topic they are interested in.
Once your child has chosen a book, have them write or draw something they learned or found interesting from the book on a piece of paper. They can use colored pencils or markers to make it fun and colorful.
Help your child create a simple filing system for their personal knowledge management. This can be as simple as using different folders or envelopes for different topics or subjects.
Encourage your child to add their paper with the information they learned from the book to their filing system. Explain that this will help them remember and find the information easily in the future.
