By the end of this lesson, you will be able to read and comprehend an article about Desert Survival, and demonstrate your understanding by writing a summary using the 5 W's and H questions, and creating a visual representation or another article on the subject.

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have a quiet and comfortable place to work.
Activities
- Read the article "Desert Survival" by Cathryn Steeles.
- In your English notebook, write a summary of what you have learned from the article using the 5 W's and H questions (Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How).
- Create a visual representation of the subject matter by drawing a picture related to desert survival or create another article on the same topic.
- If you prefer, you can also turn your summary and visual representation into a slide presentation using words, pictures, and animations.
