Activities

- Descriptive Paragraph: Using the brainstormed ideas, guide your student in writing a descriptive paragraph about the Gateway Arch. Start with an introductory sentence, followed by sentences that describe its appearance and the emotions it evokes.
- Editing and Revising: Review the paragraph together and help your student make any necessary edits or revisions. Focus on sentence structure, grammar, and adding more vivid details.
- Final Draft: Have your student write a final draft of their descriptive paragraph, using their best handwriting and making sure to include all the improvements made during the editing process.
