What do we use to play with the slime? Our hands! Hands are 'things'. Wiggle your hands!

Slime, bowl, spoon, hands - these are all 'thing' words! We call them nouns.

Let's Do Actions! (Verbs)

Now, what can we DO with the slime? We can mix the slime! Let's mix, mix, mix! 'Mix' is an 'action' word. Can you say 'mix'?

We can also poke the slime. Poke, poke! 'Poke' is an action word. Say 'poke'.

Mix, stretch, squish, poke - these are 'action' words! They tell us what we are doing. We call them verbs.

Let's Put Them Together!

Okay, let's try saying what we are doing!

Say: 'Mix slime!' (While mixing)

Say: 'Stretch slime!' (While stretching)

Say: 'Squish slime!' (While squishing)

Say: 'Poke slime!' (While poking)

Wow! You are putting 'action' words and 'thing' words together! Great job!
