Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to understand the concept of money making and its relation to health and physical education.

Materials and Prep

  • Pen and paper
  • Computer or tablet with internet access (optional)

Activities

  1. Brainstorming: Start by discussing with the student different ways people can make money. Encourage them to think creatively and come up with various ideas.

  2. Research: If you have access to the internet, guide the student to research different jobs or businesses that can help them make money. Have them write down at least three options they find interesting.

  3. Physical Activity and Health Connection: Explain to the student how physical activity and health can play a role in money making. Discuss how being physically fit and healthy can lead to opportunities for earning money, such as becoming a fitness instructor or participating in sports competitions.

  4. Personal Reflection: Ask the student to reflect on their own interests and skills. Have them write a short paragraph about how their interests or skills can be used to make money.

  5. Group Discussion: Encourage the student to share their ideas and reflections with the family or a group of friends. Discuss how different skills and interests can lead to various money-making opportunities.
