  2. Start the lesson by discussing what knights and castles are. Show pictures or read short descriptions from the reference materials to help the student visualize these concepts.

  3. Brainstorming Descriptive Words
  4. Ask the student to brainstorm a list of descriptive words that they associate with knights and castles. Write down their ideas on a piece of paper or on a whiteboard. Encourage them to think about words that describe the appearance, sounds, and feelings associated with knights and castles.

  5. Creating a Character

  7. Planning the Story
  8. Guide the student in planning their knight and castle story. Help them create a simple outline with a beginning, middle, and end. Discuss the main problem or challenge their knight character will face in the story.

  9. Writing the Story
  10. Using their outline as a guide, have the student write their knight and castle story. Encourage them to use descriptive language and proper sentence structure. Remind them to include details about the setting, characters, and action.
