Start by introducing the concept of Greek gods to the student. Explain that the ancient Greeks believed in many gods and goddesses who had different powers and responsibilities. Show pictures or illustrations of a few Greek gods and briefly describe their roles.
Provide a list of Greek god names and ask the student to practice spelling them correctly. Encourage them to sound out the names and break them into syllables if needed. Repeat the spellings together until the student feels confident.
Create a word search puzzle using Greek god names. The student can search for the names horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. Once they find a name, have them write it down correctly on a separate sheet of paper.
Create a set of flashcards with Greek god names and their corresponding pictures. Shuffle the cards and lay them face down on a table. The student can take turns flipping two cards at a time, trying to match the name with the correct picture. Encourage them to say the name out loud when they make a match.
