Activities
- Warm-up: Start with a light jog or brisk walk to the apple orchard or apple tree.
- Apple Picking: Once you arrive at the orchard or tree, begin picking apples. Remember to use proper picking techniques, such as twisting the apple gently to avoid damaging the tree.
- Physical Activity Stations: Set up different stations around the orchard or tree with physical activities related to apple picking. Examples include:
- Apple Toss: Stand a few feet away from a target and try to throw the apples into it.
- Apple Relay Race: Divide into teams and race to pick and carry apples from one point to another.
- Apple Balance: Try balancing apples on different body parts while walking.
- Cool-down: Finish the lesson with a leisurely walk back home, carrying the collected apples.
