Materials and Prep
- Pokemon cards or pictures (at least 10 different ones)
- Pen or pencil
- Plain paper or notebook
Activities
1. Pokemon Addition: Choose two Pokemon cards and add up their HP (Hit Points) together. Write down the addition equation and solve it.
2. Pokemon Subtraction: Select two Pokemon cards and subtract the HP of one from the HP of the other. Write down the subtraction equation and solve it.
3. Pokemon Counting: Lay out five Pokemon cards. Count the total number of tails shown on all the cards. Write down the counting equation and find the sum.
4. Pokemon Multiplication: Pick three Pokemon cards and multiply their HP values. Write down the multiplication equation and solve it.
5. Pokemon Division: Take a Pokemon card and divide its HP by 2. Write down the division equation and find the quotient.
