Objective

Activities

  1. Research Ancient Crete: Encourage the student to use the internet or books to gather information about Ancient Crete. They should focus on its location, major cities, famous structures, and daily life of the people.

  2. Create a Map: Provide the student with printed maps of Ancient Crete or let them draw their own. They should label important cities, landmarks, and geographical features. This will help them visualize the region and its significance.

  3. Design a Minoan Pot: Ancient Crete was known for its intricate pottery. Have the student use their creativity to design their own Minoan-style pot. They can use clay, play-dough, or even draw it on paper. Encourage them to incorporate traditional Minoan patterns and symbols.
