Activities

  1. Research Ancient Crete: Use the book or online resource to gather information about Ancient Crete. Take notes on important details such as its location, major cities, lifestyle, and achievements.
  2. Write a Travel Brochure: Pretend you are a travel agent promoting Ancient Crete as a vacation destination. Create a persuasive travel brochure using your research. Include enticing descriptions, colorful images, and interesting facts to attract potential tourists.
  3. Design a Timeline: Create a timeline of important events in Ancient Crete's history. Include significant dates and brief descriptions of each event. You can use a poster board or create a digital timeline using online tools.
  4. Write a Myth: Ancient Crete is known for its rich mythology. Imagine a new myth set in Ancient Crete and write a short story about it. Include mythical creatures, gods/goddesses, and a moral lesson in your myth.
