The objective of this lesson is for the student to explore the world of antiques and understand their historical significance within the context of Social Studies: History.

Activities
- Research an Antique (30 minutes)
Using the internet, research and choose an antique that interests you. Take notes on its historical significance, origin, and any interesting stories associated with it.
- Write a Short Essay (45 minutes)
Based on your research, write a short essay (1-2 pages) discussing the importance of the antique you chose in relation to a specific historical period or event. Include details about its cultural, economic, or social impact.
- Create a Presentation (30 minutes)
Using your essay as a guide, create a visually appealing presentation using any software or tools you are comfortable with. Include images, key points, and interesting facts about the antique.
- Present and Discuss (20 minutes)
Present your findings to a family member or friend. Engage in a discussion about the historical significance of the antique and its relevance to Social Studies: History.
