Materials and Prep

  • Open space for physical activities
  • Comfortable clothing and shoes
  • Water bottle

No prior knowledge or materials are necessary for this lesson.

Activities

  1. Warm-up: Start by doing a few stretches to prepare your body for physical activity. Stretch your arms, legs, and neck gently.

  2. Endurance Circuit: Set up a simple circuit with stations such as jumping jacks, running in place, hopping on one leg, and crawling. Spend 1-2 minutes at each station, trying to keep going without stopping.

  3. Obstacle Course: Create an obstacle course using cushions, cones, or any other safe objects you have at home. Challenge yourself to complete the course as quickly as possible without giving up.

  4. Animal Walks: Pretend to be different animals and move around the room. Try walking like a bear, hopping like a kangaroo, or crawling like a crab. See how long you can keep going with each animal walk.

  5. Cool Down: Finish the lesson with a cool-down activity. Slowly walk around the room and take deep breaths to bring your heart rate back to normal.
